About Sakura Buffet
Sakura Buffet is a chinese restaurant in Lancaster, California. It is listed at 44840 Vly Central Wy #109, Lancaster, CA 93536, which places it among the local businesses of Lancaster that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as buffet restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Lancaster; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Sakura Buffet at (661) 951-8338; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, sakurabuffetlancaster.com.

Getting around Lancaster is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Really bad I'm not exaggerating here.....I only post a review when restaurants are great and tasty/good service or are terrible and I am morally obligated to tell people to NOT go to this place... it's around $20 per person for dinner service, and its cheaper for kids depending on their age. They were really rude at the front counter, but accepted my military ID for a discount which was nice. I tried every single food there. Here's the thing: I came for the seafood and it was inedible. The crab was grey and slimy. The crawfish were grey. The mussels were grey. The sushi and raw meats/shrimp on the mongolian grill are not on ice to keep them under 40 degrees (food safe temperature) and were not swapped out for 2 hours. The raw shrimp to be cooked on the grill were sitting room temp in their own juices and slimy...The sushi includes california rolls, square pieces of tuna and salmon nigiri. Sushi was the highlight I guess? That also wasn't kept on ice...They have a large selection of food questionable at best and at worst inedible/unsafe..I got food poisoning an hour afterwards. This place was really busy too. Everyone's plates were stacked. I hope they are all okay. I can't come her

Years ago, it used to be really delicious. They don't have variety of meat. I remember when they used to have the potatoes. Those were really delicious. The hot wings so they don't need to be cooked a little bit more and not so hot. A lot of us don't do hot, but I know that's not your guy's as fault. My husband and I already made a decision not to return. It was 2 years since we haven't been there The food is fresh. There's nothing wrong with the food. The cleanliness is good. They just need to pick up more variety of different meat and different kinds.Because there was hardly any to choose from.Thank you

This is I think the second buffet in the area I used to like them when they had cheese wontons cause that’s my go to however, their food has really fallen off it lacks flavor and it just seems like it’s been sitting there for a while. The food doesn’t really seem fresh. I hate their lack of dessert. They have ice cream, but it just taste like chemicals so it doesn’t taste real. Their desserts are basically pudding and they do have fruit options, but not a lot. As far as the drinks they do have fountain drinks where you serve yourself, which is cool. They have a lot of different options as far as soda’s ,teas and coffee. ☕️ they have plenty of seating, but I really wish that they would remodel and possibly clean up their carpets because it’s really filthy. This place needs to be remodeled, including their bathrooms. They’re very dirty and not clean. The atmosphere itself is not very clean which kind of makes me not want to eat there cause it’s like if you keep this area of the dining area for guests to eat and it’s not even clean then I can imagine how you keep the kitchen. There is plenty of parking.

I went to Sakura Buffet in Lancaster recently and overall had a really good experience. There was a nice variety of food, so everyone in my group was able to find something they liked. I especially enjoyed the sushi and a few of the hot dishes, which were fresh when I went through. The staff was friendly and attentive, keeping plates cleared and the buffet stocked. The place was clean and comfortable, even though it got pretty busy. A couple items could’ve been a bit hotter, but nothing that ruined the meal. I’d definitely go back when I’m in the mood for a buffet.
